Emma
My name is Emma. I am the nursery manager. I have worked at Kattz Kidz since March 2016 and am proud to have been part of the nursery set up team. I have worked in childcare since completing my CACHE Level 3 in Childcare and Education, in 2004.I am passionate about working with children and especially love to watch them learn, grow and develop.
Danni
My Name is Danni and I’m the Deputy Manager of Kattz Kidz and Room Leader of Strawberries. I Currently hold a NVQ Level Three Qualification in Early years. I’ve worked in childcare for 8 years and What I love most, is watching children grow, develop and seeing their little faces when they finally achieve their Goal. I’m also a Parent to my little girl.
Lisa
My name is Lisa and I work in the Under 2’s room. I have been working at Kattz Kidz since they opened in 2016 and have been working in childcare ever since. Since starting at Kattz Kidz I have completed my CACHE Level 3 in Childcare. I am also the SENCO for the nursery. I am a parent to 3 children, and I have volunteered in toddler groups and children’s work in church since 2006. I enjoy planning activities for the children to explore and develop their own interests.
Megan
Hi, I’m Megan and I have over 13 years’ experience working in childcare. I have worked at Kattz Kidz since June 2017 and hold a level 3 Diploma in childcare and education. I’ve been caring for and supporting the children in Blueberries room for over 5 years. I am passionate about what I do and enjoy teaching the children new things, allowing them to flourish as themselves through creative play.I especially love being creative with the children and the special bonds that we build.
Sammi
My name is Sammi, and I am the Blueberries room leader. I started working at Kattz Kidz in September 2019. Prior to working at Kattz Kidz, I had not worked with children before, although I have lots of nephews and nieces who I love to spend time with. I had spent 2 ½ years travelling around Australia, before returning home to the UK and starting a career in childcare. I am now working towards my Level 3.
Leanne
My name is Leanne and I work in the Strawberries room.
Since being a little girl I always knew I wanted to work with children so as soon as I left school I attended college to complete my NNEB in 1997 and have been working in childcare ever since with experience in age groups 3 months to 5 years.
I am passionate about helping children to learn and grow in all areas of their development.
Rozlyn
My name is Roz, and I am a bank member of staff. I’ve come back to childcare after having and raising my children who are all grown up now. I had two years of experience before starting in Kattz Kidz in August 2022 and I am looking forward to many more years working in childcare. I enjoy circle time and singing Nursery Rhymes with the children.
Nichola
My name is Nik, I am an Unqualified Practitioner in the under 2’s room. I have worked at a different nursery before Kattz Kidz, but started here in June 2022. I also have two children of my own and because of them, I am a Beaver and cub leader for the Scouts. It has always been my dream job to work in a nursery, as I enjoy supporting the children’s development and seeing them grow. My main interest is Messy Play.
Nicola
My name is Nicola and I have worked at Kattz Kidz since November 2021. I had not worked in childcare, previously as I was in elderly care. I am currently working in the Under 2’s room and am loving the experience. I hope to start working on my childcare qualifications soon!
Natalie
My name is Natalie, I am the room leader for the Under 2’s room. I have worked in childcare since2017 and hold a level 3 NVQ in early years care and education. I love working with children and have wanted to do it since I left school, I am passionate about my job and the children I help them to become strong and independent. I love to be very creative and spend a lot of my time coming up with new ideas to try.
Kathryn
My name is Kathryn, I have my Level 2 qualification in childcare and have worked with children since 2021. I started at Kattz Kidz in November 2022 and am based in the Under 2’s room. I also carried out my college placement here at Kattz Kidz. I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them grow and develop.
Millie
Hi, I’m Millie and have worked at Kattz Kidz since September 2019. I currently hold a level 2 qualification in childcare, and I am studying to do my level 3. I am very passionate about working within our 2-year-old room and love to come up with new and exciting activities and doing messy play activities!
Kyah
My name is Kyah and I work in the Blueberries room. I started working at Kattz Kidz in April 2021. Prior to working at Kattz Kidz, I had not worked in a childcare setting before, although I have experience helping to look after foster children. I am excited to have started a career in childcare and am currently working towards my Level 3.
Mary
My name is Mary, I have been working with children since 2010 and have been at Kattz Kidz since October 2022, based in the Blueberries room. I am Level 3 Qualified. In my spare time, I enjoy looking after my Granddaughter, meeting with friends and going to the cinema.
Natalie
My name is Natalie, I joined Kattz Kidz in August 2022, to begin my career in childcare. I love creating new ideas and thinking of ways to keep young minds active and happy.
Jamie
Hi, I’m Jamie, I have over 25 years’ experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision. I enjoy creating nutritious menus for the children to try and enjoy. I enjoy being part of a lovely team and getting to know the children within the setting.

My name is Salima. I have an Early Childhood Education Degree and started working at Kattz Kidz in January 2023, within the Under 2’s room. I had always wanted to work with children, and have been doing so since I was 15 years old. I like to create activities which help the children to explore and enjoy building up relationships with children.
Beverley
My name is Beverley and I work in the Strawberries room. I have worked at Kattz Kidz since January 2021. I’m NVQ Level 3 qualified in Children’s Care learning and development. I’ve worked with adults and children with learning disabilities since I was 17. I am a mother of two grown up daughters and have a teenager at senior school who I encourage to do his best in everything he does. I enjoy working with children and seeing how they grow and develop their learning in different ways.
Paige
My name is Paige, I work in the Strawberries room. I hold a Level 3 Qualification and have worked in childcare since 2016, started at Kattz Kidz in October 2022.I started as 1:1 for a child with 24/7 Medical needs and was then given the opportunity to work on both my Levels two and three in childcare. I love working alongside children, watching them grow, develop, and helping them to achieve their goals.
Casie
My name is Casie. I’m am a bank staff member of the Kattz Kidz team I started here in November 2022. I have worked in childcare since 2015, working in another nursery and a SEN school. I took a break from childcare to have my two children and have been excited to return back to the role. I love working with children, making their day at nursery the best it can be, helping them achieve their goals but most importantly making them smile and having lots of fun!

Kattz Kidz Day Nursery is a home away from home setting based in a lovingly restored period property in the heart of in Letchworth Garden City. We offer children and their parents an exceptional standard of care in a calm and nurturing environment delivered by excellent childcare practitioners.

Our staff are also additionally vetted through our vigorous recruitment process and continue to receive additional training throughout their careers. The safeguarding and well-being of the children is a fundamental part of our staff training programme. All our staff are DBS-cleared and are required to carry out thorough checks on an annual basis.
